Cristine Aki is an ILP specialist in the Infant Learning Program. She lives in Anchorage with her husband and has 3 grown children, including a set of twins. She enjoys spending time with her 4 ½ year old granddaughter and looks forward to seeing her new grand baby around March 2015. Christine grew up in southern California and lived in Washington, the Philippines islands, and Texas before moving to Alaska in 1997. She received her bachelor’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University and graduated with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University. She worked for Anchorage School District for eleven years, and especially enjoyed working with preschool children with hearing impairments and autism before joining FOCUS full time in June 2014.
Cristine’s anchor and foundation are in the Lord. She enjoys bible study groups, spending time with family, traveling, and learning.
