Focus is founded on over 30 years of commitment to families. We as an agency recognize that the most important aspect to the healthy development of a child or the consistent care of individuals with disabilities is their family.
If you are seeking information regarding an infant, please see our Infant tab. This program is geared for Infants with a wide array of disabilities. Our Infant Learning Program staff consists of highly qualified therapists (speech, physical, occupational) and highly qualified educators. Together we work for the best benefit of each individual child. If you are in need of our ILP services and live in the Chugiak / Eagle River area you can expect a full spectrum of services delivered to you in your home. These home based sessions will enable you and your family to become empowered and informed on how to best promote the healthy development of your child. From birth to three years old we will work with you in all facets of your needs, from therapy to transitioning to the school district, we will provide the best possible support your family may need.
As children grow their needs change. While most of the services are delivered through the school district, we provide the pieces that aid you outside of the classroom. As an agency we pride ourselves on being able to deliver quality care consistently. Our innovative programs include an After School Program for middle and high school youth and a Summer Program for youth ages 6-23. Our family centered approach will work with you to provide comprehensive care from the planning to implementing of your goals. If you are interested in our After School or Summer Programs, please see our Youth tab on our home page or click on the Youth tab on the right.
If you have questions on cost please see our grants or waivers tabs in the menu to the right. The tabs will guide you through our agency whether you already have funding or you are new to the whole process.
We appreciate your interest in Focus.
