Hi, my name is Julie Friedli and I am a speech-language pathologist who began working at Focus in January of 2016. I graduated from University of Iowa in 1987 with a BA degree in Speech and Hearing Science and Northern Illinois University with a MA degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I met and married my husband, a USAF pilot, in 1991 and made several military moves before coming to Alaska in 1998. Up to that point, I had practiced at Francis Allen School for Exceptional Children, Easter Seals, United Cerebral Palsy, and a private practice agency in Virginia. When our second child arrived, I decided to stay home with our two children for 17 years before deciding to return to work in 2016. I have enjoyed my Focus families and colleagues and continue to develop my professional skills through opportunities Focus has provided. I enjoy downhill skiing, crafting, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to being a part of your family’s team to help your child’s speech and language skills to develop!
